Cuba Sailing Adventure

A sailing adventure around Cuba is a fantastic way to explore the island's stunning coastline, vibrant culture, and crystal-clear waters. Here’s a suggested itinerary for a 10- to 14-day sailing trip around Cuba:

Day 1-2: Havana – Marina Hemingway

Start your adventure in Havana. Explore the historic Old Havana, vibrant nightlife, and classic cars before setting sail.

Sail to Marina Hemingway, just west of Havana, for check-in procedures and provisioning.

Day 3-4: Cayo Levisa & Cayo Jutías

Head west to Cayo Levisa, a stunning island with white sandy beaches and great snorkeling.

Stop at Cayo Jutías, another beautiful key with a laid-back atmosphere and incredible seafood.

Day 5-6: Cayo Largo del Sur

Sail southeast to Cayo Largo, a paradise with untouched beaches and incredible diving spots.

Explore Playa Sirena and Playa Paraiso, known for their soft sands and clear waters.

Day 7-8: Jardines de la Reina (Gardens of the Queen)

Continue southeast to the Jardines de la Reina, one of the best-preserved marine ecosystems in the Caribbean.

Dive or snorkel with sharks, turtles, and vibrant coral reefs in this marine park.

Day 9-10: Cienfuegos & Trinidad

Sail to Cienfuegos, known as the "Pearl of the South," with French colonial architecture and a relaxed vibe.

Take a land excursion to Trinidad, a UNESCO-listed town with cobblestone streets and a lively music scene.

Day 11-12: Cayo Blanco & Playa Ancón

Visit Cayo Blanco, a small island with pristine beaches and fantastic snorkeling.

Relax at Playa Ancón, one of Cuba’s best beaches, with golden sands and calm waters.

Day 13-14: Return to Havana

Sail back along the coast, stopping at scenic bays and fishing villages before returning to Havana.

Best Time to Sail :-

November to April: Best weather, calm seas, and steady trade winds.

May to October: Warmer with occasional rain and the risk of hurricanes (June–November).

What to Expect :-

Warm hospitality and great music in Cuban towns.

Incredible diving, snorkeling, and fishing opportunities.

Well-protected anchorages, but limited marina facilities outside major cities.
